My first poems were written in high school, inspired by Professor István Jelenits. An interesting twist of fate, I later found out that Professor Jelenits had been the mentor of Pilinszky and of the first literary attempts of Péter Esterházy as well.In 2007, as one of the winners of a literary competition, an excerpt of Don Giovanni di Praga was published in the anthology Szép írások 2007. At the time, I imagined the book would be released as part of a „multiart” concept – accompanied by CDs of Don Giovanni and The Marriage of Figaro, along with Mozart Kugeln and chocolates – so the reader could enjoy a full experience. But it turned out to be too complex a task for publishers, so the book was never released. Fortunately, information technology has come a long way since then, and now I can offer you, dear Reader, the musical attachments here on this website. Of course, I still can’t serve chocolate and coffee virtually to accompany your reading, but I’m convinced that sooner or later, even that problem will be solved.When you, dear Reader, reach the end of my book, you will feel that the story of Mozart, Casanova, and Faust in Prague does not end with Don Giovanni.
